How long our your waiting lists?

Unfortunately this isn't an easy question, as they are always changing. Hopefully your child won't need to wait long, but once you register we'll be in touch with more details.

How can I register my child?

If you fill in the contact form above and let us know you'd like to join, we will send you the information you need to get started! This will be a form with some basic information, and then a second form once you are at the top of the waiting list (you may not need to wait at al all)!

How much does it cost to attend?

As you can imagine, running a scout group is not a cheap adventure. At the 9th, we are incredibly fortunate to own our own building, and this offsets most of the cost to you. We charge a termly subscription of around £20-£30 (not including the cost of camps), and we cover the annual fees of capitation, and the cost of running extra activities.

If money is a problem, please let us know. We don't want anyone excluded due to financial reasons, and there are several national scouting grants we can seek to help you cover the cost of scouting for you/your child.

I want to hire your building, what should I do?

Should I register my child even if they are below the starting age?

Yes! Our waiting lists are always changing, and the earlier you join our waiting list the sooner you'll get to the top.

My child is already at another scout group and would like to move, can you accommodate this?
